A UK virtual number
that answers itself.
A real local or 03 number, published wherever you like — and somebody picks it up at three in the morning.
The difference
A number nobody answers is just a voicemail box.
Most virtual numbers are just a redirect. The call still ends up exactly where it was always going.
You're up a ladder
The redirect doesn't change that.
A number, nothing solved
You've added a line, not an answer.

FAQ
Questions, answered.
What is a virtual phone number?
A phone number that isn't tied to a particular handset or line. Calls to it are routed wherever you say — to your mobile, to a team, or in our case to an assistant that answers it for you. It lets you publish a business number without giving out your personal mobile.
Can I get a local area code?
Yes — a local number for your area, or an 03 number if you'd rather sound national. A local code still matters to a lot of customers, who read it as a sign you're actually nearby.
Do I need to buy a second phone?
No. There's no handset and no SIM. The number lives with us, gets answered, and the details of every call arrive on the phone you already carry.
Can I keep a number I already have?
You can keep using your existing number as the public one and divert the calls you miss to us — that's what most people do, because it means nothing to reprint. Porting a number across to us is possible too; ask and we'll tell you honestly whether it's worth it in your case.
Is this the cheapest way to get a second number?
No, and it isn't trying to be. Apps that give you a second line for a few pounds a month exist and they're fine at what they do. This costs more because the number is answered — the point isn't having the number, it's not missing the calls to it.
What does it cost?
The number and the answering come together, from £29 a month with 100 minutes included. 30 minutes free to try first, no card, no setup fee and no contract.
