SEO for small business,
without the retainer.
Find out what's actually wrong. Fix the site. Publish every week. That's the whole of it.
Why it feels like a con
“SEO” as one line item is the problem.
It isn't one thing. It's four jobs with four different costs — sold to you as one monthly figure.
Technical fixes
One-off work. You shouldn't be renting it monthly.
Content
Ongoing, and the part most small businesses skip.
Local listings
Free, and worth an afternoon of your time.
Links
Slow, risky if bought, and not something we sell.
The free audit scores all four in about a minute.
What we do
Three products, not a retainer.
A free audit
Design, build, SEO, technical SEO and content, each scored out of 100, so you know which one is actually the problem before spending anything.
Audit my site freeA site built to be found
Proper titles, headings, structured data, a sitemap and pages aimed at what people search — built in, not bolted on afterwards.

And what we don't.
- Link building — we don't buy, sell or broker links, and you should be wary of anyone who does
- Technical consultancy on a site we didn't build
- Guaranteed rankings — nobody can honestly promise a position
- Google Ads management
By trade
Search works differently per trade.
FAQ
Questions, answered.
Are you an SEO agency?
No, and we'd rather say so on the first page than have you find out later. We sell three things that happen to be SEO: a free audit, a website built to be found, and content published on a schedule. Link building, technical consultancy on sites we didn't build, and ads management are not things we do.
How long does SEO take to work?
Months. A Google Business Profile can move within weeks, but rankings from content build slowly and compound — most of the value from something published today arrives next year. Anyone offering faster is either selling ads or something you shouldn't buy.
Can you guarantee a position on Google?
Nobody can, and it's worth being suspicious of anyone who says otherwise. What can be promised is the work: a site that's technically sound, pages aimed at what people actually search, and content published consistently.
What does it cost?
The audit is free. A website is £20 a month. Blog Autopilot starts at £15 a month at the founding price. There's no retainer and no minimum term, because we're selling products rather than hours.
I already have a website. Can you just do the content?
Yes. Blog Autopilot publishes to a WordPress site, to your own domain, or to a blog we host for you — you don't have to move your website to use it.

The audit is free and takes about a minute. No card, no call.
